I still have 2 more double page spreads to finish. Then I'm done with all of the sketches for the three books. And I can finally begin painting.

- I am an illustrator living in Syracuse, NY. I have always been inspired by retro colors or themes; as well as vintage toys, posters and book jackets. I could watch vintage cartoons all day long. Who doesn't love the Flintstones and the Jetsons? (my grandma used to have an old flintsone village set- the coolest toy ever! I also love the old animations of Bill Hurtz. Those guys really knew how to use wonky perspective. Some of my favorite illustrators currently are Christopher Nielsen, Derek Yaniger, Giselle Potter, and Matte Stephens. I work in flat acrylic paint on paper, illo board and panel. Sometimes I finish work digitally for magazine assignments.
